I don't know what to make of this. As this esssentially robs the Dodgers of all pieces of good value on his team, and in the process gets traded more scrap pieces to add to the mix.
I'm going to withhold until I can think this over more.

Yeah this is a veto from me, too many scrap pieces, Phillippe Aumont (300k) Bartolo Colon (16M) (A's pay 12M) Luke Jackson Ian Krol Rafael Dolis Scott Hairston Josh Donaldson Jiwan James Eric Sogard Zach Cone
Are all pretty much worth very little.

just because there are scrap pieces?
the numbers of the guys I am getting: 6-7 4.45 ERA .230 13HR 20SB .244 4HR 10SB
Scott Hairston is hitting .288 with 12HR, Colon also outpitching Masterson. James, Krol, Jackson, Aumont, and Dolis are solid prospects.

I worked on this deal for months and months, look over the deal and research before you veto. Hairston and Colon putting up better stats than Stubbs/Masterson and Venable is a throw in. Plus I have added several young guys like Dolis, a future closer and some prospects who have fallen off a bit, but still have potential.
He is also a Phillies fan, so Janes/Aumont have more value to him.

And you may not use the "he shouldn't be adding rentals or older players" excuse no matter if it is true or not, I know that I said that and several people from base knock shot me down saying I shouldn't be deciding what a team does. (In another league, but people from here were saying it)

Aumont and James are in Philly and honestly, i know what they are. Aumont is no scrap, he could be potential closer after Papelbon is gone or SU man next year. James seems to be pretty good moving into AAA sooner or later and with the recent blow up of trades, could be a Philly in a couple years

I could really care less about this trade so I will approve it. I don't see any collusion although I know that Noah is VERY pushy. If dodgers didn't agree to the trade it wouldn't be happening.

Actually, Dodgers doesn't have the Cap to make this trade they are trading away 3.3m and getting back 6.9m in players with only .4m in cap room.

Cards is correct. Even if A's was just dealing Bartolo Colon for 4m, Dodgers doesn't have the cap room for him.
Sorry guys, deal is cancelled due to cap reasons.
