I confirm, Peralta's on a one year deal and in decline, and I'm able to get rid of 9.5M more in this trade. Kendrick is just blah, a SP fill in for rangers. The main prize here is easily Joe Wieland, who started games last year for the Padres and should have a rotation spot this year. I really like what wieland brings to the table, and he is pitching in PetCo, always a bonus. Destin Hood and Phillipe Aumont are both solid prospects who could make it to the Big's someday. Hood has great tools, and could put it all together, and Aumont could be a set-up guy some day. Van Slyke and Satin are two other prospects that I liked.
