The other one's fine... but this one doesn't work for me. Two top players (a Cy Young winner) for 3 prospects just doesn't add up no matter who the prospects are. Plus Kelly and Skaggs haven't been great. And isn't Grandal suspended or injury or something?

confirm...i give up two aging allstars for top prospects. skaggs is a top ten prospect and kelly is top 50. and i need a catcher badly and grandals a good young catcher. I realised at some point this week that i dont have the health, the talent, or the debt to compete at the top this year. And i certainly wont compete next year with the same group of players. Who knows how dickey is going to perform this year also he is 38 years old and ramirez is 34. they are going downhill fast. In a year or two these two players arent going to be allstars and the players i will be getting have great potential to be. this is why i made this deal

I'm with Alex on this, Kelly is out for the year and really hasnt been 100% for a while, Skaggs is trending downwards and Yasmani is still suspended and we don't know what he can do off of the juice

Approve. Dickey has been mediocre at best this year. I know he won the CY last year but he was terrible during the WBC and has not improved yet. Ramirez is old and isn't he hurt right now?
Skaggs is top 10, Kelly is out for the year and the Padres may have screwed him up permanently by speeding up his delivery, and Grandal is a solid catching prospect even without the juice.

Both sides of this trade have considerable risk and if they want to do it, let them.

Veto, I think it's close but 2 top 10 players (at their position) is too much for that particular package of players. Can you add a piece?

Are you freaking kidding me? I must be a hypnotizer by convincing all these GM's to make TERRIBLE trades that KILL the league.

Kelly is hurt but it isn't like the Mets are competing this year...

I have been the worst team in the league for two seasons, that hurts the balance of the league if I am not able to go from bad to good.

Approve. I think Dickey is overrated, and correct me if I'm wrong isn't Ramirez injured. But I think a good spec, a suspended catcher, and I really like Kelly. I like this deal for the Mets

i approve dickey is overrated and probally wont pitch after this year at age 39, aramis is also getting up ther in age. You cant hate on prospects if they havent done anything yet thats why they are spects, if they would have proven something they wouldnt be prospects.

This needs one more vote on it. But c'mon Noah, if you're constantly having to defend why you're not doing well in your deals, you're doing well in your deals. Dickey was a Cy Young (there's 2 Cy Youngs in ALL of baseball if you didn't know that), and Ramirez was top 5 at his position. Kelly is done for the year. Grandal is suspended. And we all know Skaggs is doing pretty bad (9 ER through his first 2 starts 0-1 record at AAA after sucking in the majors last year). I would approve JUST Dickey for these three, but this is not even close add in a top hitter.

Veto. Not enough for two established MLB players. Grandal is a nice piece but Kelly is a huge question mark and Skaggs' success hasn't translated against more advanced hitters.
