The Rockies send:

RHP: Bryan Brickhouse, KC (300k)
SS: Zach Green, PHI (300k)
2013 COL 2nd Round Draft Pick
2013 COL 4th Round Draft Pick

The D'backs send:

LHP: Andy Pettite, NYY (4.7m)
2B: Yuniesky Betancourt, MIL (700k) (700k)


I'm not going to sugar coat anything.  I'm trying to win now.  Pettite has one year left (hopefully), and I needed to make a move for my rotation with Price and Parker underachieving and Chacin on the DL.  Betancourt provides depth, especially at second where Ellis has been inconsistent.  Definitely sick of hearing about people saying how the other team is doing very well in the deal and how they "hope" this will work out for them.  I know I'm getting good players; that's why I trade for them.  Consequently, I gave him solid prospects and picks, look them up if you don't know who they are.
