Veto, I agree with Astros here on this one. Choice is a fairly high regarded prospect and Valbuena albeit having a good start to the year is just not a very good player. Maybe if this was 1-1 like Jesse said I'd like this more but Altherr has some upside too.

Valbuena is an everyday player that has shown so far this season that he can put up solid numbers. He's still young and has a very reasonable contract.

I'll approve because managers should be able to do what they want within reason but I agree. I like it for the D'backs a lot.

Approve. I don't care what Choice's number are in AAA because they aren't in the MLB. And Altherr (who I went to high school with) is still young with some upside but isn't in the MLB either. An MLB starter is easily worth a couple of unproven prospects.

I'm going to veto this on the fact that the dodgers can get a much, much, much better player than valbuena for a top 100 prospect like Choice. Valbuena may be some what getting the job done now, but I think we all know what kind of player he is by now.

So everyone knew what Yadier Molina, Nelson Cruz, Brandon Phillips, and Adrian Beltre were early in their careers? Everyone also knew what Ian Stewart, Brandon Wood, and Mike Olt were?

Kyle... just let the voting run its course man... makes you look kinda strange when you're arguing against your side of the deal . State you point and let it happen... I'll vote tonight...

You can't even compare Luis Valbuena to those guys, he is straight garbage. .228 career batting average man, he sucks. You're going to compare him to one of the best catchers in the league, one of the best 2nd baseman in the league, one of the best 3rd baseman in the league and a good power hitting OFer?

Look at all their earlier seasons. Valbuena was once a highly regarded prospect and had struggled but seems to have found a spot and a team. I don't think he's going to be as good as any of those guys but he is an everyday player who is showing signs of finaling producing where people thought he would. Choice is a good prospect but that's what he currently is a prospect.

Every single one of those guys you listed was 10x the player Valbuena was at the same age and had significantly better careers than him leading up to it. Molina had a Gold Glove and was seen as the best defensive catcher in baseball, Phillips as a rookie in 06 was great and has been since, and Beltre had been in the league since he was 19 and was seen as a solid regular player. Nothing in Valbuenas career suggests he will ever be good. None of the guys you listed failed to hit .200, he sucked in Cleveland and he sucks in Chicago and was not considered a top spect seeing as he was never listed on a single top 100 list.

I have not, nor will I ever say that Valbuena is a top 5 player at his position. He's not and probably never will be. Top 15 at his position? Possible. In a deep dynasty league that everyday players can be hard to come by he's worth something. I asked for a good spect and a low level with upside and this what we came up with. It's as simple as that.

I can't not veto this trade. Choice is a really good prospect with nice upside and Valbuena is just a sub par position filler.
Veto, Sorry guys.
