Padres get: Domonic Brown, 3 of 4 (0.4m)
Giants get: Josh Reddick, 3 of 4 (0.4m) Hak-Ju Lee, (0.3m) Drew Hutchison (0.3m) Edinson Rincon (0.3M)
I accept.

Personally I'm going to veto on this one. Obviously Brown is having a monster year. Reddick has been horrible. Lee is out for the year with torn knee ligaments and before then he wasn't known for his bat (which = fantasy points) but for his ++ defense. Hutchison is coming back from tommy john last season so who knows what he's going to do. Rincon was released by the Padres and hasn't even played in 2013. We are talking about the 8th best player in our entire league right now (370 points). I think that commands a pretty hefty return and this grouping of players doesn't seem like a good return to me.

I'm shocked! This deal throws off the balance of the league? I honestly thought I was giving up too much. Reddick was out do to injury and yes he's had a bad year but if you project his stats out to playing all season he's at 230-240 and that's with a bad year. To each their own I guess. Thanks for voting

In my opinion u kill in this one Matt, a young OF who is only 25 who is having a monster year for an OF who had one good year but also hits in a park that is very pitcher friendly and without much other weapons in that linup. None of those spects have that high of an upside BUT with that being said i dont like to get in the way of what owners want to do so maybe Giants sees something i dont so i will approve but i will go on record saying that Padres kills in this deal and i cant understand why a bottem level team would give away a top 10 player who is only 25! So approve

Eh I just see Brown as a budding possible superstar in the MLB with the way he's playing right now and his contract is so cheap for this year and next that his value is through the roof for me personally. Sorry, bud! Looks like this will pass anyways!

Veto... I can't make this work anyway. Giving up too much, Padres? Yeah... try the other way around.
Reddick SUCKS this year... terrible. .219 with 4 HR's...?
As Austin said, Lee is a defensive player AND he's out.
Hutchinson just had Tommy John. And Rincon is a throw in.
Brown has been one of the best players in our league this year.

Hutchison had Tommy John surgery last year so he's already started his rehab assignment and should be up with the Jays mid August/Early September for sure. I have a question for the people who have vetoed this trade. Would you have Vetoed this trade last year with Brown and Reddick in different places EX) Reddick for Brown, Lee and Hutchison? After Reddick's great 1 year just like Brown is having. I don't buy all this b/c a player is doing fantastic this season garbage. Check out prior seasons as well when determining whether a trade is fair or not. Brown has SUCKED in his career till this season. Who's to say Reddick won't bounce back and Brown won't go back to struggling. P.S. Pitching is valuable so don't undervalue my boy Hutchison -Jeff

I wouldn't say Brown has had a bad career, what do you expect when the Phillies jerked him around between AAA and the MLB for 3 straight years before finally deciding to give him at bats? Reddick really didn't have that good of a year last year anyway. Hitting .240 and only .215 after the AS Break? Hardly a stellar season despite his 30+ Dingers. Anyone who watched Reddick in the 2nd half of last season knew he wasn't very good.

I'm a big advocate of letting owners handle their teams as they see fit. I approve

Thanks Jeff (Rangers). You said just about everything I wanted to say. I can't believe the difference between Brown and Reddick with the 3 prospects is so large that its a veto. Let's say all 3 prospects flame out.....Then SF is left with at most a 250 pt differential. Josh Reddick had 542 pts last year and this year if you project him to a full season he's at 460-480.
I feel a fair comparison for Lee would be Alcides Escobar who was also known for his glove. More recently look at Jose Inglesias this year. He's been a valuable piece for a team this season. I feel Lee will be a very useful SS in a 30 team league.
I like Hutchison a lot an he's already rehabbing. He could be a useful piece as well especially in a league where pitching makes a difference.
Rincon is right around the corner from playing as well.
If 1 of these prospects pan out its a good deal for him. If 2 pan out he wins. If all 3 pan out its a home run. And let's not forget Reddick is only 26 and is on the same contract as Brown.

Veto for same reasons as Austin/Alex/Jesse. Not bandwagoning, just don't want to be redundant, so saving my written piece.

Haha. This is unreal!!! I can't believe the difference between Reddick and Brown is like Chris Davis and Kershaw together. I don't want to complain a whole lot but there is NOOOOOOO way this deal screwed up the balance of the league or hurt the Giants or myself to where it deserved a single veto. It is what it is though.

Matt... usually it's a good test to see if you're getting a rip off or not when you start arguing for the OTHER side...
C'mon man, let the trade run its course.

Alex, my bad. I thought 4 vetoes voided the deal. That's the only reason I said anything the last time.

Last year Reddick hit 32 HR's at 25 and was the steal of every league. This year it's Brown.
I am so amused by all the experts in every league who can veto deals. It's all a crap shoot.
Lee is defense only, yet he steals bases and has hit .300 with doubles and triples. Rincon can hit, but is bad a bad fielder,....kind of the opposite of what is said about Lee. Drew Hutchison had TJ surgery. It's becoming the norm. 4 players for Brown and I still think it's more than an even deal. I might end up being wrong, but that is the chance you take when making a trade. It is my team, right? But maybe I should be thanking all you veto voters for saving me from myself....
