The D'Backs have agreed to trade:
SP - Alex Wood .8M (2 of 7)
2B - Dilson Herrera (prospect)
OF - Jacob May (prospect)
OF - Aaron Altherr (prospect)
1st round pick in the 2014 Amateur Draft
to the Marlins in exchange for:
OF - Yasiel Puig 37M in 2014 & 2015
The Marlins agree to pay 28M of Puig's contract in 2014 & 2015

Marlins accept. As far as the money goes, I had 100M or so to burn last year and nothing to spend it on since I joined after FA's. So I burned that money by blind bidding an insane amount on the two IFA's that made sense for me. My willingness to include that much is an attempt to get his salary to a less ridiculous amount that's more in line with what he makes in real life. Besides, even after paying it I clear 9M.
