Dodgers get: Conor Gillaspie (0.8m) 2 of 7 Randall Delgado (0.8m) 3 of 7 Kevin Correia '14 (7.5m) '15 (7.5m OPT) Manny Parra '14 (0.3m) '15 (0.3m) Ryan Pressly '14 (1.5m) '15 (1.5m OPT) San Diego's 5th rd amatuer dragt pick
Padres get: Cris Carter (0.8m) 3 of 7 Justin Masterson '14 (6.5m)
The Dodgers will pay $1.5m of Masterson's contract. The Red Sox are paying $2.5m of Correia's contract.
I accept. This deal will fill holes the Dodgers have and I upgrade a SP.

Mediocrity for two really good young players... I'll have to think about this one. Plus Jeff and Matt are... friends...? acquainted somehow... can't remember.

Check the last name....That is where you can find your answer! Haha. I deal with him like anyone else Alex. He has a good foundation with no 3b and no depth at RP. Carter is in the OF for him which is a position of strength. I traded him 2 SP's and 2 RP's to help him with that need and make up for the loss of Masterson. This deal will make his team better and score more points. That's just my opinion along with his so feel free to vote how you like.

I feel like Matt should give up a bit more for Masterson and Carter. I said a bit more so the deal isn't too far off but for now I'm going to veto, add in a few more valuable pieces Matt and I think it'll pass. But for now, veto.

To clarify, I worry about trading with Matt more than anyone so if I am to accept his trades, I put more thought in. As Matt said, yes I am trading a couple young players but with Choice moving up, OF becomes expendable. I also signed many SP for free agency so that becomes expendable. I have no option on Masterson so after this year he would be a free agent and seeing how the contracts went this offseason, I realized I probably wouldn't resign him and must trade him before that when I can still get something.

Do I think this is fair? No, not really, although I do value Delgado highly. However, this does not alter the balance of the league in any way really, so it's not much of a thought for me.

I'm going to veto here... sorry guys. Nothing that you guys are brothers... I just don't see the benefit at all to Jeff for this trade.
(3-3).

Well that makes it 4-3 and the trade has been way past over. But even with your vote it puts it at 4-3 so isn't this officially good to go?
