Astros Acquire: RP Bruce Billings (300k) 200k (for Bruce Billings)
Athletics Acquire: SP Christian Binford (300k)
I basically trade 200k for a draft pick. Allen didn't want to anybody and was going to lose the pick anyway.

Why in the hell would anybody agree to this? Binford is a top up and coming prospect. Billings is a 29 year old who hasn't pitched in the MLB since 2011.

Well, we agreed to the deal. He wasn't going to pick anybody and I sent him cash (he would release Billings and keep the 200k) for the pick (Binford). Ee agreed on the deal and he may not have seen it or is going back on his word. I'm not really sure.

Veto. I don't agree with free first round MiLB Draft picks being traded for nothing. That's all I'm going to say. I know that Billings is 100% useless.

If he wanted cap space, he could have simply been skipped, and wouldn't have had to take ANY cap on.

Once again you are vetoing for reasons not in the rules. This is complete bullshit, and now my guy won't be available for my 2nd round pick.
Billings was supposed to be useless. Houston would drop him.

If he is skipped, he saves 300k. With this trade he saes 500k. Trading picks isn't a loophole, and HE was the one who asked for money.

Oh, my veto is (0-4). I don't agree with trading somebody with potential for nothing. 500k is also pretty much worthless.

He doesn't save 500k in this trade Noah...
If he doesn't draft Binford. He has 300k available.
If he does draft Binford. That adds 300k, then he sends that to you, while taking on 100k in cap from Billings, thus only gaining 200k in space. I don't see any logic to this.

if he doesn't draft Binford, he has 300k available.
If he makes a pick, he has 0k available
If he picks Binford and trades him for Billings, he has 200k available. Then he releases Billings and has 500k available.
I'm screwed over now because of a veto happy league and now my pick is gone. Vetoes are incredibly overused and it is asinine.

The only reason he picked Binford was because I told him to after we agreed to the trade.
Austin, he wouldn't have had anything without me telling him who to pick so he could trade me Binford.

Trade him for something useful and I will approve of it.

NOAH. Here is the math for you clearly laid out.
Beginning:
Astros has $2.7m available.
He picks Binford, down to $2.4m available.
He trades you Binford, and gets Billings, who is a prospect and he can cut for free... regardless of the fact that you cover cash.
Thus, Astros then have $2.7m available. And there is NO VALUE for Astros in this trade (he gains no cap room), other than the fact that he gives you a prospect that had a great season last year FOR FREE basically. That's why this makes no sense.
$2.7 + 300k (binford) = $2.4m - 300k (Binford trade) = $2.7m + 300k (Billings trade) = $2.4m - 300k (cut billings) = $2.7.
Same value on both sides.

Not sure where you're getting half this, Noah, but the implication that I need you to hold my hand for draft picks is hilarious.
I entertained your offer, your 35th of that day to me for my draft pick, to get you to leave me alone. We talked but as I recall we didn't agree to anything and you didn't post anything for days afterward so I assumed any talks he had had were now dead.

I'm vetoing this deal as well. Some simple facts make it vetoable. Binford last year in Single A had a 2.67 ERA, which is very solid. Binford is also 21. Billings, on the other hand, is 28 and has pitched in 4 major league games (all in 2011) in his career. His ERA in those games is 10.29. Those facts right there make this deal unacceptable.

Does the deal need to be veto'd if I never confirmed it in the first place?
That way Noah can just be mad at me and not everyone using the stamp.

I can see how not getting a draft pick that was never yours to begin with would lead you to quit.
