Our 2014 B.K.D.B. Amateur Draft will start this Friday August 15th at 9:00pm est.. Make sure to refresh on all the Amateur Draft rules well in advance of the start. There are some differences between our Amateur Draft, and our MiLB Draft make sure that your clear as to how things work. Just as a heads up, I'll be out of town with limited internet from the 16th to the 23rd. I'll do my best to check in, but it's more likely I'll be drinking on a beach. The 16th for sure will be a problem since that's a travel day. Hopefully pick 1 will be ready and I can make picks 2 and 3 before I leave.

I suggest that you PM your choices to me or someone else before you leave (if you know who you want). It will help to keep the draft moving and it will let you drink stress-free without worrying if you'll have time to pick  |

Can we make the picks early if we have no plans of dealing it? Just no clock until Friday? I also have pick 9 and will be hard pressed to follow closely.

If the guys that pick at the top want to make thier picks early they may do so. Like you said no official clock until Firday night. As long as the picks are made in order there should be no problem. Keep in mind that once your pick selection is posted your pick is made and can not be changed. |

For everyone else that picks later on in the round....if you think you might miss your pick you can always PM your short list of wanted available players in order of most wanted to either myself (LAA), Michael (CLE), or Bill (KC) and we can make your pick for you when the time comes to do so. If not, then once you've been on the clock for 12 hours an auto-pick will be made using our available player guide list.
