I'm sorry Derrick and Matt. I had to jump on this deal. I feel like it improves me in the short term and in the long term. I'm now up against the cap, but I view Wil Myers as a long term piece, and Matt Cain as someone I can flip at the deadline.

I accept. Wow, what a deal. To say I have lost faith in Myers would be incorrect. But, I don't like his prospects in San Diego. And, seeing as how my team is constructed, I prefer the better player now (short term piece) to the possible future star. Plus, I free up a much needed 15M-ish in cap to finish off my team. Giles is also a personal favorite and I think he will be an elite closer as soon as this season. Good luck Noah and I wish you nothing but the best!
