Athletics Acquire: SP C.J. Wilson (27M) 8.1M in 2015 to cover Wilson
Mets Acquire: SP Trevor Cahill (12M) SS Jake Hager (300k) Draft Picks: 4.4, 4.5, 6.4
I grab a 5 starter. I cut into my cap reserves but I'm happy with it.

A lot of horrible deals here in a row... Noah's low-balling. A #28 prospect in the system, a pitcher who's projected for 60 points this season, and 3 late picks are not worth C.J. Wilson with cap covered...
C'mon...

#1, Wilson was just a free agent.
#2, Mike requested late draft picks.

#1... what the heck does it matter if he was a free agent? He was a free agent because I didn't have the cap to sign him.
#2... who cares what he "requested"... I'm sure he'd rather have higher draft picks.

"A lot of horrible deals here in a row... Noah's low-balling."
Direct Quote^^^^
He asked for late draft picks. I think the deal is fair, but even if I didn't, was I supposed to say "Hey Mike, your deal you offered me is stupid and I am going to increase what I give you."?
The fact that you made an assumption that I made a low-ball offer makes this feel personal. This a free dynasty baseball league. This is not a place for vindictiveness.
I have won an average of 3.5 games a season in my time as a general manager. I have had more trades vetoed than any other owner. What is the point of vetoing a trade? I was under the assumption that it was to create a fair competitive balance in the league.

Well it's going to be approved so it doesn't matter.

I also think that just because you haven't won any games in your first seasons doesn't mean you should get grace to...? Idk? Make other teams worse?
Official. Processed.
