The Diamondbacks have agreed to trade:
Chris Johnson 3B - ATL 5.9M Arb A 6 of 7
Plus I'm covering 75% of Johnson's contract this year (4.4M)
to the Cardinals in exchange for:
Ketel Marte SS - SEA Prospect
Tim Cooney SP - STL Prospect
Boone Whiting SP - STL Prospect
Kris Medlen SP - KC .5M Arb A 6 of 7
I trade a starting 3B at a good price, but I get 3 solid specs and a flyer on a double TJ Pitcher. Good working with you Chris.

Cardinals agree. Needed a 3B to fill the starting lineup and didn't really want to let go of many major league players.
