Jon Lester CHC- SP 2016: 25M

Tyler Marlette SEA - C SPEC
Michael Roth CLE - P SPEC
Boone Whiting COL - P SPEC

4th Round Pick

To the A's in exchange for:

Adam Jones BAL - OF 2016: 35M 2017: 35M
&
Scott Kazmir FA - SP 2016: 9M

My intentions are pretty clear on this deal. I get a big bat to help me compete and replace Lester with Kazmir. It sucks losing farm talent and cap space, but I'm in win now mode.

Approve (7-0). I like it for D'backs... as he grabs two studs and the prospects are so-so. I think Athletics could have gotten much more on the prospect one if he'd dealt each of them separately.
