Jays receive:
Scott Kingery (spec)
for
Zach Davies (spec) Ryan Howard, $7M 2016, 50% salary reimbursement for 2016 only.
Like some other recent deals, for me this is a win-now move, trading a promising MI spec who may be further away for MLB depth. Good dealing Adam.

I have 0 2B prospects in my farm so I need to acquire one and getting the best one in the latest draft for a promising young arm and a aging 1B I am okay with good dealing best of luck Brewers

I'm not sure on my vote for this one yet... A prospect who struggled a bit last season (KIngery) for Davies (who averaged 13.6 fpg in his starts last season) and Howard (who hit 23 HR last season at a relatively cheap price) might be a little much to pull off.

I'll toss a veto here for much the same reasons as Alex.
Scott Kingery didn't have any eye popping numbers, for Howard who had 360 points last year. Also, Zach Davies started a few games last year for Brewers, and for a mediocre rotation, may be able to compete for a spot in back end this year.

Well there's no guarantee that Davies is going to make the rotation as there are plenty of high level SP specs on the Brewers farm. Also, the Ryan Howard numbers are mostly coming from the first half of last season. Howard had 297 ab in the first half of last season with 15 HRs. The Phillies moved him to a platoon role the 2nd half and he had 170 ab with 8 HRs. So to expect him to get 350 points is asking a little too much. Kingery as a talented 2B prospect is valuable in this league because there aren't too many guys like him. Also, factor in the Blue Jays getting 3.5M in cap space before free agency starts. It's another one of those deals where I personally wouldn't have made the trade, but I don't think it's completely vetoable.

allow. Davies for Kingery is fair, throwing in a 50% off Howard and makes this a huge return for an undersized and underperforming slap hitter years away that can only play second base. 75-25 Brewers.

I'm going to veto for the reasons stated above. (6-2)
