The A's trade:
Lance Lynn - STL SP Year 5 of 7 B arb 2016 - 10.2M 2017 - 11.5M 2018 - 12.8M
Mets trade:
3rd Round Pick
My point of view on it is that Lynn this season is dead money and going into next year his contract number is a little on the high side. He's also a B arb contract so he's gone after the 2018 season. I clear up 10.2M this year which will help in free agency, and also still get a 3rd round pick to help with my farm. |
