Hey everyone, Let's get this figured out, it's taken long enough Here's the four options: 1. Allow the Pirates to pick at the end of Compensation Round B (between rounds 2 and 3) 2. Allow the Pirates to pick at the end of Compensation Round C (between rounds 3 and 4) 3. Allow the Pirates to pick again at pick 5.1b (after pick 5.1 of the San Francisco Giants) 4. GIve the Pirates no compensation. Here's a link to the past league discussion: baseknock.proboards.com/thread/6755/fisherThe fairest way to decide what to do I suppose in this situation is to have the league vote on what should happen. Put yourself in Max's shoes, and put yourself in my shoes running this league, and also your opinion as a fellow GM. I'd appreciate as many votes as possible! Thanks! - Alex

Whatever we decide needs to be the new precedent in case this ever happens again.

Whatever we decide needs to be the new precedent in case this ever happens again. I feel like this situation is hard to set a precedent on since we're dealing with a set of rules that don't exist anymore. Fisher was allowed to be drafted without being drafted. This is a case that may never happen again.

It's happened a couple of times before.

The situation is strange because comp was awarded, but then the heart of the issue (Fisher being listed as part of the PIT roster) was never solved. Not something that happens often, but definitely should set precedent for these future (rare) issues
