Ronald Torreyes, 3B yankees, yr 2 $0.8M
Brewers receive:
David Freese, $5M 2017, 2018 option
From my perspective, I was targeting Freese in free agency. Torreyes is not a well known name but he's forecast for about 250 plate appearances with the Yankees and 3B eligible, cheap and controllable. This also sends a pick and frees up cap for the Marlins.
