2017 Amateur Draft 6th Round (WAS)
Giants accept. This move was made for so many reasons, I hope I can remember all of them. (1) I like draft picks. (2) I'm going to need to be creative with my roster going forward as prospect develop. (3) Dave like's his Dodgers and (3b) I'm also happy to provide happiness when it's so easy. (4) I keep checking for my draft pick has rolled around and figured I might as well do something, instead of just waiting. There are a few reasons for this trade, Thompson's athletic ability is going to be missed, as of right now since he is coming back from a back injury and will be fighting for AB's in a loaded Dodger outfield, he is still replaceable. Nice trade and best of luck.
