Nationals send Brett Nichols .3m Skylar Ewing .3m Tanner Scott .3m Seth Smith 4m 2017 1st round & 3rd round picks
From Indians: Kyle Shwerber 3 of 7 .8m 5th round pick

Indians accept.
I do hate to lose Schwarber, but I really like the package of prospects and picks that he brings in in this trade. It always helps to grab another first round pick.
It was great dealing with you, Dave!

Approve.
Can't say I'm a fan if the Indians side, but he says he really likes the return, and that's important.

Allow. This should fill the Indians inbox with trade offers for anyone of value, something must be in the water over there.

Really... a lot to give up Dave (Former Nationals GM) ? I'm not a fan of this deal for Indians. Sure, Scott has a nice ceiling, but he's probably the 7th or 8th best prospect in a bad farm system... Ewing and Nicholas are poorly rated. And then you pull in a 34 year old, more expensive outfielder? Schwarber could have been a guy Cleveland could have locked up for a long time as a nice cornerstone for the future. The only reason I approve is due to the fact that the Indians get a 1st and 3rd round pick from Washington, but even then at best all you're hoping for is for one of those guys to turn into Schwarber. These kind of deals could plunge Cleveland back to the cellar of the Central for awhile. Approve (6-0).
