The Giants are continuing to add pieces here as the Twins finally decide it's time to tear down some aspects of this aging roster that was inherited prior to last season. Minnesota's front office is unsure if they'll be able to afford Murphy in the off-season due to the fact that players such as Salvador Perez, Josh Reddick, and Tyler Chatwood are in the 7th year of arbitration. The Twins will need to open their pockets for each of those three. While Rivera adds depth, Mancini brings immediate pop into the major league lineup.

Hernandez, on the cusp of becoming an MLB regular, was recently placed on the DL with a knee contusion, but the Twins believe this won't hamper his future. Tejeda is about as boom or bust as it comes with prospects at just 18 years old. Minnesota believes that his 60 grade arm, bat speed and raw power will all click in the future, making him a threat for 20 home runs from short. Tejeda is expected to pair well with Gleybar Torres in the future.
