Phillies trade:
Kenley Jansen, RP ($10.6m) 7m covered 2017
Josh Harrison, 2B/3B ($7.3m) 3m covered 2017

Rockies accept.

The Giants are making moves... which means I need to. Adding Jansen gives me five really good closers, I think their value is underestimated. Adding Harrison gives me an upgrade at third or the flexibility to move Peraza to the outfield. While it's a lot to give up in my opinion, though everyone thinks more highly of their own prospects, I'm trying to strike gold this season, it's about time the Rockies were relevant again.

Phillies agree. Again, rebuilding time here in Philly. Love the return with 2 guys having chances to impact big league clubs in the near future. Nice dealing Alex.

Allow. The cost of competing in the National League has gone up, the Phillies were supposed to make noise by competing for a playoff spot, instead they are making noise trying to re-tool. I like what this does for the Phillies milb system as well the extra strength it adds to the Rockies, maybe the Giants need to make a move or two more to keep the Rockies on the run.
