Adam Jones, OF, BAL
2018: 35M
Diamondbacks are covering 75% (26.25M)
to the Marlins in exchange for:
Nick Gordon, SS, MIN
2018: spec
Jacob May, OF, CHW
2018: spec
Marlins 1st Round Pick
Real simple decision for me. I'm building towards next year and a I have a ton of MLB talent. I'm picking up a top 100 spec, a triple A OF that was just in the majors, and a 1st round pick. Appreciate the easy negotiation Travis.

Marlins accept. I'm gonna do all I can to make a run at this thing this year. Like Gordon, but my decision to move him was based on his lack of both power and speed. Gets hits no doubt, will hopefully bat .300 in bigs. But the majority of points are generated by homers and SBs, so I'm moving him. Jones is Jones, I felt I needed a bat.
In a corresponding move to free up CAP: I'm dropping Anthony Gose, Sean O'Sullivan, and Wilson Rodriguez
