The Dodgers and Mets have agreed to the following trade...
Dodgers Trade: Francisco Liriano ($17M) Tyler Clippard ($4M) 4th round pick (Dodgers)
Mets Trade: Hudson Potts ($0.3M) Mason Melotakis ($0.3M) Andrew Yerzy ($0.3M)
The Dodgers Accept. I think that these are 3 pretty solid prospects that I am receiving and will help towards my rebuild.

Mets confirm. Need to bolster my pitching staff, and I'm not losing any sleep over the guys I gave up.
Also the pick above is a 4th rounder, not 4th overall.

Allow. Another bad to weak trade. It's as if the goal is to run the Dodger franchise into the ground so they won't be able to compete for another 3 or 4 seasons.

Veto, if the goal is a rebuild, the pick didn't need to be included

Veto, agree with Dave. For what starting pitchers go for on the trade market, 3 non-prospects is not a good return. Add in another solid reliever and a draft pick that is probably more valuable than those 3 prospects combined and it's pretty clear how lopsided this is.

While I don't like Clippard or the draft pick in the deal, both Clippard and Liriano (with his massive contract) are just rentals this season for the Mets, and the Dodgers likely wouldn't have placed his chips in to sign either of them at year's end. Consequently, I think grabbing three prospects, while although not very highly rated, still appear on ranking lists, is logical for a 4th round pick. It's been 48 hours already though... so this one is official. Processed. Dodgers GM (Scott), Mike (Former Mets GM),
