Orioles trade:
OF Giancarlo Stanton 17: $35M 18: $35M 19: $35M OF Lonnie Chisenhall 17: $6.3M
White Sox trade:
1B Jake Bauers $300K OF Carlos Tocci $300K OF Oscar Mercado $300K IF Kaleb Cowart $300k
With a young core of Gallo, Conforto, Buxton, and others already in place, the White Sox signal their move towards competing in future seasons by adding two talented bats. While Chisenhall is set to be a free agent, he'll be extendable via franchise tag for a reasonable price.
The Orioles have gone as far as they can with their current core, and with minimal salary available for free agents, have to make some changes if they hope to compete any time soon. Adding four talents that are near-MLB ready will allow Baltimore to retool in quick fashion, with sights set on 2019.
Nice dealing with ya, Caleb!

White Sox accept.
I know I'm rebuilding but I'm the type of guy that likes to get back into it as soon as possible.
This is my first step to trying to bring the Whitesox a playoff appearance. We still keep plenty of assets and will also build towards the future.

Allow. Great pick up for the White Sox, having a player like Stanton and not trying to win just won't make much sense, so congratulations on jump starting the rebuild. It's a nice package of prospects in return, it might just work out well for both teams.
