SS Delvin Perez - prospect - $0.3M
2018 Pick 2.30 (HOU)
Astros receive:
Chad Kuhl - 3/7 - $0.8M
These prospects are probably too far to make in impact for my current window. I like Kuhl's velocity and arsenal and think he has a chance to log innings for my team this year. This was a very tough trade for me but felt it was necessary.

I hate to give up Kuhl who really became a different pitcher in the second half of last season. But the Package of Abdullah, Perez and the pick just felt to good for me to turn down. The process can be a little bit ugly but the results will come and I'm hoping they'll start to show sooner rather than later.
