5th Round Pick (LAD)
Nationals Trade:
Jose Miguel Fernandez - $4.0M for '17, $4.0M for 18 (Note on the roster sheet for the nationals he is incorrectly listed as Jose Miguel Hernandez)
Brandon Miller - $0.3M (spec)
Fernandez has some potential to make an mlb impact but was just recently released from the Dodger organization. So there are a lot of unkowns about him (including potential injuries?). He also doesn't come with a very friendly contract. But I don't mind rolling the dice here when I'm getting a potential starter prospect alongside him in Miller. This trade works out well for us both.
