Hey guys,
Just looking ahead a month or so to the start of our Amateur Draft. The signing deadline for MLB Draft picks is July 15th, so we're free to start anytime after that. I'd suggest just kicking it off as soon as we can, maybe July 18th or 19th, just so we have a few days to ensure that we have a complete list of eligible players. Unless anyone has any objections, I'll say we'll start the draft starting at 12am, Wednesday, July 18th.
My wife and I are moving cross country that following week, so I'd really appreciate some help running the Amateur Draft this year (updating the available list, updating the draft round, making sure MiLB players drafted are unowned, updating the Google Docs).
Hope that works! Excited for this draft, should be our most active ever I'm guessing.

Just want to add as per the rules, draft picks can be traded up to three days before the start of the draft. That means that draft picks can only be traded until midnight on the evening of July 14th, that will give us time to get the draft order set for the Amateur Draft!
Also, just a thought, on the evening of July 17th, it'd be fun if we could get as many teams as possible that have first round picks on the GroupMe to cruise through the first round of the draft. We could even start it a bit earlier at like 10pm that evening. Just an idea.
