Nick Bitsko - Spec $300k
Lazaro Armenteros - Spec $300k
Sean Newcomb - 1 year $14 mil w/ option
Rangers Trade:
Shohei Ohtani - 2 years $20M with 50% coverage in both years
Cardinals Accept - Taking a risk here that Ohtani can get back to form and back into the rotation in 2021 and beyond.

Accept. I like Ohtani but unfortunately I don't see him anymore as a reliable SP and only as a universal DH type of player where you can find in anyone. I'm grabbing a former top 50 prospect and a solid top P prospect with others to bolster my farm. Good dealings my friend.

Nik is taking a big gamble here that Ohtani stays healthy and stays in the rotation. If he doesn’t, he just paid a hefty price for a utility only player.

I don't really like this trade, solely because I believe in Kieboom even though he hasn't shown out yet. Quite the gamble, one I don't think is worth taking. We'll see if it pays off for ya.
