Cardinals accept. Tim asked me to beat Max this week, so this is why I'm doing this deal. JK the Cardinals are happy to fill the void that Eloy has left us this year by acquiring Dom. Here's to hoping his 60 game sample in 2020 was not a fluke.

Reds Accept. My minors have a lot more young hitters than pitchers, therefore acquiring a young pitcher with high potential like AJ Puk was a goal. Dominic Smith is a tough player to move on from, but being on a Type B contract and based on my timeline of competing, he would be near the end of his deal with no opportunity to renew when it was time to compete. Therefore, it was prudent to make this move. Nice deal, Nik, and good luck this season!
