Blue Jays Accept. My outfield has been hit by injuries and I needed someone to add. I like Pollock and realize he is injury prone himself, but hoping he can stay healthy and make a contribution as a Blue Jay. Mike set a cool example by trading with the Rays so I did the same. I would like to thank my fellow instate and indivision rival for the talks and the commitment to the cause of #beatmike. #rivalry

Rays accept. Pollock is a good piece but he's always an injury risk, and he's been messing up a perfectly good tank anyway. I like both prospects I'm getting in return, especially Shenton, who provides some more of that much-needed MiLB 3B depth. I feel a little sleazy playing both sides of the AL East bird rivalry like this, but business is business. Thanks to Blue Jays GM (Stephen) for the negotiations, and may the best bird win!
