I continue to deal away some of my depth pieces in addition to a starting pitcher. Davies has shown signs of life the last few weeks so
I’m hoping I don’t regret dealing a cost controlled starting pitcher. I keep maxing out my starts each week so I’m willing to take the chance. Bass doesn’t even crack my reliever rotation and Schebler doesn’t crack my outfield rotation.

In the wake of Soroka’s surgery, I realized that if I have any chance at sneaking into the playoffs this year, I’ll need some additional starting pitching. Davies is controllable and has looked like he is his normal self over the last two starts. Bass is additional relief depth who has struggled this season, but was the Marlins closer to start the season and might end up back in some high leverage situations now that the results have been better of late. Schebler is some OF depth that could be back on the MLB roster for the Angels later this season, so it’s worth taking a flier on him as an add on.
