Couple things I had in mind:
1. Accept irl extensions for those with arbitration years remaining.
2. No dealing draft picks accept for supplemental picks like in real life
If I have anything in mind, I'll post it here.

BIDDING RULES & CONTRACT POINTS
A player is signed to a team when that team's offer has remained unbeaten for 48 hours. The time is extended to 72 hours during the first week of free agency to give teams more time to survey the players. The time is reduced to 24 hours during the regular season to speed up signings so teams can get players on the field.
Could we just bump this down to 48 hours throughout the entirety of the off-season free agency period? I don’t see why we need an additional 24 hours on top of the 48 we already get.

The 72 hours was put in because we release 100+ FA's at once... hard to survey the market and we wanted to do our best to avoid "steal contracts" that only were that low because of the surplus of free agents still on the market.

IRL extensions are hard in a league that mimics MLB because not all teams are around the same in salary cap in MLB, unlike NBA or NFL.

Makes sense now that you’ve explained it.
